BY DAN EAKIN Editor@silsbeebee.com A man who had not walked for four years and is now walking with a walker was discharged with a big going away party earlier this month at the Paradigm at Kountze. Tony Feagan, 52, of Sour Lake, had spent less than two months at Paradigm where therapists worked with him several days a week to get him to walk again.

The Kountze Lions had eight players honored by District 22 3A coaches when the All district teams were announced. Zac Sells was named as the District Most Valuable Player for the third time.

Champions of Nature coming to South Texas State Fair

The Sabine-Neches Chapter, Texas Master Naturalist™ will present Champions for Nature at the South Texas State Fair, Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24, from noon to 6 p.m. Located in the Ford Exhibit Hall, this special exhibition will be made up of local groups whose sole purpose is to promote awareness, education about and love for nature.
