Commissioners OK new positions, salary increases

The Hardin County Commissioners Court met in regular session Tuesday morning and unanimously approved the creation of new positions and pay raises in both the county attorney’s office and the district attorney’s office.

SHS GOLD! wins State, to return to World Finals

February has been a very busy month for Silsbee High School’s GOLD! Robotics team. On Feb. 5, the team attended the UIL VEX Robotics 4A State Championship. Team GOLD! entered the tournament as the reigning and defending state champions, and they were able to pick up another big win giving them back-to-back state titles.
