The Silsbee Lady Tigers left it all on the field Wednesday night with a 17-15 win over the Jasper Lady Bulldogs.. The Lady Tigers had a combined 20 hits for the game while Jasper collected 14. Big drives in the game were Madelyn Byars with a home run and Makenzie Russell with a grand slam.

Hardin County Youth Soccer (HCYSC) will be hosting multiple youth soccer camps this summer. The first camp entitled Play and Learn Soccer (PALS) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. from July 8 to July 11 at the Hardin County soccer fields at 7837 Park Road in Lumberton.

The Silsbee Junior Football is currently signing up players for the 2024 season. The cost to sign up for football is $85 and parents can sign up online at the Silsbee Junior Football Facebook page. Also, sign ups are from 8 a.m.

The game started with Silsbee pouncing early in the bottom of the first with Jayden Miller hitting a line drive for a single, followed by Jaden Johnson with a grounder to center, bringing in Miller to put the Tigers ahead 1-0. Mikey Moshier would then hit another chopper to center, bringing in Johnson. The score would remain 2-0 until the top of the second when Jasper would score their first run off of a wild pitch by Matsyn Morris.

Raydrian Baltrip won three events and ran a leg on two relays. He was in the 4x200 meter relay and the 4x100 relay as Silsbee scored 88 points to place fourth in the UIL District 19-4A track meet.

Orange Little Cypress- Mauriceville dominated the girls portion of the District 19 4A held its district track and field meet in Silsbee on Tuesday and Thursday April 2 and 4. The Lady Bears overpowered the field as they scored 178 points.
