Leon Winn, 95, of Evadale, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024. He was born in Oakdale, Louisiana to John W. Winn and Beaulah May Fontenot Winn.
Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 27 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at Antioch Cemetery in Buna.
Leon had lived in Evadale since 1962. He was a Mason for 50 plus years and had worked at the paper mill in Evadale for 37 years, where he was a superintendent over the powerhouse.
Survivors include his children, Rodney L. Winn and wife Carolyn, Linda Radley, Michael D. Winn and wife Maria, Terry Winn and wife Raemma, Debbie Fraser and husband David, Richard Winn and wife Kim, and Sandy Masters and husband David; and 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
