Leapin’ Lizards - the Broadway musical “Annie” is coming to Orange, TX. The iconic Tony Award-winning production of “Annie” will be at the Lutcher Theater for one night only on Thursday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m.

Resthaven Cemetery Care Association is making an annual appeal of support. The cemetery upkeep is ongoing made possible by contributions and volunteers. People wanting to donate funds can be sent to PO Box 805, Silsbee, Tx 77656.

To me, Easter is the best day of the year! I can’t even imagine what my life or my children’s lives would be like without Easter. Even though many people don’t want to admit it, the strength of our country and so many wonderful things about the world would not have been the same if Easter had never happened.

He is risen! Indeed! This is a special time of year in which disciples of Jesus Christ celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from death to life. It is amazing that some 3,500 years ago, as the people of Israel were preparing to flee the land in which they had been held as slaves for around 400 years, God gave them a picture of the salvation that would come in the Passover.

Easter Sunday is this coming Sunday, March 31. Many Christians refer to this as “Resurrection Sunday” because it is a day in which we especially celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jesus is our Home of Eternal Life. In Matthew 11:28 Jesus invites us to come to Him. Jesus says come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
