BEAUMONT – Founder of the band Staind, Aaron Lewis, is bringing his acoustic tour to the Jefferson Theatre Saturday, February 4 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Timothy Sojka is excited to speak at Silsbee High School on behalf of the Performing and Visual Arts Council next Wednesday, November 9th. “I am honored to have a chance to give back to Silsbee, the place that built me,” Tim said. “The teachers, librarians, and staff molded a child with rampant ADHD and made me believe I could accomplish anything. I am so grateful to the educators and Silsbee as a whole. My best memories are still running through the Big Thicket and swimming in the Neches and Village Creek.”

95th Anniversary Alley Concert at the Jefferson Theatre Beaumont – Celebrate the Jefferson Theatre’s 95th anniversary with the third and final Alley Concert of 2022 on Thursday, November 17 featuring live music from Street Fighter, Sancho Baker, and NuSoul the Poet. Concessions will be available for purchase.

COLLEGE STATION — Foresters and staff members from Texas A&M Forest Service commemorated Texas Arbor Day on Friday, November 4, 2022, with school presentations and tree plantings across the state. Morethan90TexasA&MForest Service employees made 42 Texas Arbor Day presentations at 34 schools and organizations.

The 4th annual Miss Silsbee Scholarship Pageant is this Saturday, November 12 at 5 p.m. in the Silsbee High School Auditorium. Everyone is invited to cheer on our beautiful contestants. Entry fee is $5 at the door for ages 3 and up.
