Silsbee school board members are sworn in

Several Silsbee school board members were sworn in at a ceremony on June 18. Among those being sworn in was James De Garavilla. De Garavilla was the only member who had an opponent in the May 4 election. He defeated Cynthia Smith. De Garavilla was on the school board from 2006 to 2021.
