Troy Rice (21) is a 6’5” junior on the Tigers basketball team. He averages 9.1 points per game with 5.4 rebounds per game. He also picks up 1.9 blocks per game. Last year he was a first team all district player. Here he works his way under the basket to pick off a rebound and put up a shot during the Tigers win over Vidor.
The Silsbee Tigers travelled to Vidor for a district game on Jan. 2 and the Tigers claimed a 10260 victory.
Silsbee dominated the action throughout the game. the Tigers led 2111 at the quarter break and 52-29 at the half.
Silsbee then outscored Vidor 30-13 in the third quarter and coasted to the 102-60 victory.
