The Silsbee Tigers won games over 5A Lufkin and 6A Kingwood last week to up their record to 8-5. The win over Lufkin came by a score of 73-69 and the win over Kingwood was by a margin of 56-41. The Lufkin win was a thriller with the Panthers leading 21-20 at the end of the first quarter and Silsbee up 41-39 at the half. Jarad Harris led the Tigers in this game with 39 points.
